They are made at the legendary Cone Mills White Oak. The factory sadly shut down 2017 which meant an end to a 112 year long partnership with Levi's. The 501 from 1947 is perhaps the most iconic and classic model of jeans ever made. It was designed during post war America and intended to be worn by the growing middle class in a country that was looking at a brighter future, leaving the great depression
